5.0 sportsman block
I have a 302 sportsman block but i need to know if my 289 crank, heads and cam will fit this block. Will by c-4 tranny also bolt onto this block. If the 289 stuff wont fit the block what year stuff should I buy to fit the block. Any info on what will work and what wont will be helpful.

I am not 100% sure on this but if the block is designed for the newer 302 cranks with the one piece seal you will need to have the flange part taken off of the 289 crank. I am sure the rest off the stuff fits.
