302 sprtsman block

I have a friend that has a brand new ford sportsman block that he bought for his 88 mustang. He abandoned the project and has some left over parts. This is a std. bore block. But my question is how compatible is this block to older 289 and 302 parts. I have a set of 65 heads that are ported and polished with big valves, will I be able to use this block. Will my c-4 tranny bolt up to this block. What about camshaft and crank. I have a 289 crank and a boss 302 steel crank. I have crank and rods from a 5.0 Ho motor which can I use. Will I need to buy newer 5.0 stuff to fit this block? I have the computer and fuel injection from the mustang but I will probably use a carb for the ease or wiring.
Info about this block and what will interchange will be helpful. If it helps, this motor is going into a 64 ford truck.

all your bolt patterns will be the same, the only thing you realy need to check is your cranksaft it dosent matter if you go with late model or early model rotating assemblt just make shure you use the right harmonic balancer and fly wheel cuz the have different balance weights. DW
