frozen lugs

on my f250, i'm trying to remove the rearend to swap into my f150. now i got one wheel off fine...but the other side is horrible. i sheered off one lug and broke my 3' breakerbar already. i used the bolt/rust penitrator spray and even used a torch to loosen the lugs. what else can i do short of using an oxy torch to cut the lugs out.

thanks

I've heard that in the early 80's some F-250's had left hand threads on the rearend on one side.. that could be the case..

Yea, I have come across left hand threads on some older F series. Especially ones with the two piece nut. They should be marked with a L in the middle of the stud.

I thought left hand threaded lugs was only a Mopar thing. Hmmm.

No, not just a Mopar thing. Lastest model Ford I worked on with them was a 79/80 F-350. Why, they are there I do not know. Maybe it is just because they had some studs left over from F-600s or it was for trucks that came from the factory that "might" be optionally equipped with dual rear wheels?
