Need a part for passenger's seat

Hi all,
I have a 1999 std. cab Ranger with a 60/40 seat. On the passenger's side seat, there is a splined plastic shaft coming out of the seat that the seat-back adjustment handle attaches to.
Well, this plastic shaft snapped off. I went to my local Ford dealer to order this part, and they could not tell from the diagram on their computer what part I needed!!

Does anybody have anyway of getting the P/N of this part, so my
local dealer can order it?

Thanks!!!

Bob, I couldn't find a Part # for you, but FPN did have this diagram available. You are alking about the item labled # 2 below, is that right?

FPN calls it a "Recline Handle Back - Bucket seats 98-04" and has them for $21.04. (Have you tried a junkyard?)

(P.S. Keep in mind that there is a metal wire "clip" that helps secure the handle to the splined plastic shaft. There is a small slot in the handle where the clip can be acccessed.)

Thanks Joe!!!

The handle (#2) is ok, it's the part that the handle attaches to is
what broke. Your diagram looks clearer than the dealer's here.
But, your diagram doesn't show the part the handle attaches to, if I were to guess, I would say it was #1.

Thoughts???
