Ford Egr
Does anyone know which cylinders the EGR systems on a Ford truck intake pull from is it all 8 or 4. My engine is not fully firing on 4 cylinders and I dont know if its because of EGR systems or something else.

The EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) on a 5.8L comes of the headeron the left side. This unit takes exhaust gases and reintroduces a small amount back into the air/fuel mix at the intake maniforld. (This is done to reduce harmfully emmissions). I'm not sure that this could cause your problem. I would assume that if the egr is not functioning it would effect all the cylinders. (Which is the problem if the valve is not closing properly)
If I were in your shoe I would check fuel supply, pressure if you have efi and compression to show if there is engine problems.
