Radio wire colors

Radio wire colors
which color wire to the radio is the ACC (the one that comes on when the swich is on)? I am wiring drving lights to it so when i shut the truck off the lights go off ( to save my battery in case i forget). The bulb in my test light is broke.

It will be necessary to buy (or borrow a manual from the library) to get that info.
When you do find the correct wire make sure that your driving lights come with relay. If they dont you may have a wiing melt down.

I found it at the rangerstation.com
Yellow with black stripe. Im not worried about melting the wires, i had it like that on my last car until i sold it. They only draw 15 amps.

Bad idea! The fuse for your radio is only a 15 amp fuse. The wiring probably wouldn't handle the 25 amps you want to run though it. Well, it might, but I sure wouldn't take the risk. Spend a couple of dollars for the piece of mind and do it right.
BTW, thanks for the wiring info, I was just about to look for it to finish some wiring while I had my stereo out
