Thumbs up 1939 Ford Pickup

I am trying to finish a project that my father started twenty five years ago! It is so hard for me to find parts for this pickup and I really don't know much about it. I need a wire harness and pickup bed to pretty much complete the body. Anyone with any help? He rebuilt the 60 horse flathead for it and put new brake lines, pads, and stuff but now the rest has to be put together.

You might watch ebay for a bed. Mack Products, Moberly, MO sells new ones, but they're in the neighborhood of 2000 clams.

I imagine the wiring harness can be had in cloth covered wire just like the original thru places like Mac's Antique auto parts in NY or Sacramento Vintage Ford in CA. Many other aftermarket setup are around at a variety of prices. Note: I have not looked specifically for 39 trucks but they carry everything else. Figure to spend upwards of $300 to rewire.
