Where is Serial Number on 1 1/2 ton 1931 truck

Where is Serial Number on 1 1/2 ton 1931 truck

To register for a license, where is the identification
plate ( model and serial number) on a 1931, 1 1/2 ton truck.

it should either be on the engine block (assuming its the original engine), or stamped on the top of the framerail towards the rear fo the engine compartment

Thanks, I'll look again. Would it be an stamped ID '
plate' attached to 'block' or 'framerail'.

What is a 'framerail'.

Welcome to FTE! Hope you find this place friendly and useful.

No, it should just be stamped into the frame rail and engine (heads). But there may be a plate with just the vin on the bellhousing. Try looking next to the steering box on the top of the frame rail. Good luck!
