In case anyone hadn't noticed, I'm a "Socially Challenged" Guy, Just trying to dig myself out. I really am greatfull to everyone here for allowing me to particapate in this forum, "Thru Brutus". This is So much more than a truck project for me. And what I'm getting from this forum is much more than info. If I sometimes seem wierd dont be alarmed, I'm just a "P.S.P.D." (Proud Self Proclaimed Dork). Please bear with me if I sometimes try too hard, I am sincere.
Larry,
Don't worry at all. This is a great forum and everyone respects everyone else's pace and expertise level with their projects. That is why the mechanically challenged (like myself) hang around and are tolerated by the rest of the members here!
Larry, I can understand where your coming from. This place is great hangout. Brutus is coming along nicely, and I'm glad you've stayed active on the board. Larry, you seem completely normal, its people like penn dick and fergie that puzzle me sometimes. Best of luck in the new year, gotta love them '60s..... -4speed
Thanks. It's wierd Here, a bunch of folks I have never meet, that I like and respect what they say, and I'll be darned if I don't care what they think about me.
Even when I just come to read, This site is the Cheapeast Therapy yet. LOL
I'll agree with this place being a weird situation. Here we are a group of people, of whom we may have never met in person (I have only truly met one person off the forum while picking up parts), and yet we ask questions, give answers, tell stories, razz each other like a bunch of old buddies. I can only imagine if somehow we all ended up in the same place for real.
I know I certainly find myself at home on this board... even finding myself checking in several times a day just to see what yal are up to. I know I certainly plan on sticking around for a long time, who knows maybe even giving a few of ya a ride around in the extended cab
It's the only place we can get "been there done that " info from someone who actually feels the way most of us do about their truck. Some like me have little info to offer but try occassionally to make someone smile, others can tell you about MII front ends, Volare fronts and stock straight axle fronts all on the same truck LOL.
Still others will lead you to the darkside and back.
