I have seen somewhere on a post or another site a chart whcih shows the different truck models and years (F-1, F-3, F-5, F-6, etc...) and which body parts and fenders are interchangeable, which are different. I think a private user has set it up and maintains it. Can anyone give me some help in finding this website again? Thanks alot.
I'm not sure of the website, but I can answer your question about what parts swap. Anything from the F-2 to F-6 are identical as far as cabs and front sheetmetal. The only obvious thing to look at would be making sure you get the correct year for the cab and sheetmetal you need, with 48-50 being the same and 51-52 the same
Cabs are all the same, but front fenders on F5 and F6 are bigger opening. One tons and down are smaller opening. This is for bigger wheels/tires on 2-tons. I'ld like to know of this site also. I was given one about selling parts, even for big trucks, metal only in Ohio. They are on-line, would have to dig it up. Supposedly Southern metal, not too bad on prices. Example F600 front fender for 59 was $125!
I saw your post on the flathead site before I came over here so I will repost my message here. I have a page set up on my site that lists the interchangeable parts between the different size models.
