Looking to find out how much room someone would need to drive 45 1/2 ton pickup.
Question is: How tall are you and are you comfortable....
Buddy was born in '45 and he likes her. He is 6'04" or so. Thanks in advance...- Luke
I'm 5'8", I have had no problems, still lot's of room in the cab. 6'4" is a bit taller...but there should still be room. You can lower the seat by relocating stock gas tank and removing or chopping the seat riser to fit. The pedals do seem a bit close though, can't stretch out a whole bunch.
I'm 6'2". The stock height of the seat is fine for me, unless you want to have your arm just right on the window seal. I've played with the seats in my '52 alot. I think that it's best to put them to where you're the most comfortable pushing in your brake petal(and the others too). I've had the seats too low and made for a really uncomfortable petal travel.
I am 6' 6". I chopped the top on my '46 pickup 3", removed the under seat tank and chopped the seat riser 2", using the stock bench seat and shortened the steering column 2". I think I will fit in just fine, and not have to hunch over to see out the windows. I also added an overhead console.
