turbo noise

when i shut down engine the turbo sounds like it is still sucking air for about 10 secs is this normal sounds like a fan still running and sucking air through air intake .

brother inlaw said it sounds like a hover vacume. drive a 02 f250 company trk and it does not sound like this. wondering if 03 6.0 should or not

Yes it is normal for the noise when u kill the engine the turbo is still spinning at like 10,000rpm thats what the noise is!!

Wait until you pull the muffler !!!
Talk about a whistle on shut down... and on startup.
with the remote start I can really hear it...

I think it sounds great !
