1970 F100 2wd disc options
Expert input needed.
Like most, i am well aware of the 73-79 disc retrofit with beams that's bolt in however i have recently heard its possible to use later f150 1990 ish spindle and beams on a 1970. Rumor has it you reverse the spindle beam combo to use the rear steer from the 1970 and have the 1990 caliper toward front. swapping calipers side to side, keeping bleeder screw up. Aside from a longer hose problem, , has anyone heard of this? i have not done any measurements but have access over the next few weeks to actually do the measurements.
is this just internet keyboard talk or is it possible? Repeated searches find nothing thus my post.
