Help with 2010 Mercury Mariner/Escape trans wiring.

I need a wiring diagram for a 2010 Mercury Mariner 3.0 non hybrid. Mainly the Transmission plugs. Chipmunks ate the wiring. Of course you would think match the colors... But the harness has 15 wires and one connector has 14 wires and another has 2 wires. Plus the darn critters ate out the splices.

I found a place online that has wiring diagrams... But not sure if they are a scam site. They want you to sign up before you see anything. Anyone use them before? I don't find much on the net, besides owned in Dubai. portal-diagnostov.com

Well for anyone following I found someone posted about a website called charm.li I pulled it up and found just what I was looking for. No signing up. The correct diagram showed right where 2 splices are.

Yep, I was just about to post that you may want to check charm.li. That site, and Lemon, provide a great service for us DIY'ers.

Good luck with the wiring project! Be sure to weather seal your connections.

Ugh been a bit of a fight. The wiring showed 3 wires (2 that were T'd) On a separate trans connector. But I only had 2 wires that were chewed off. I thought it was just a production change. Crimps are trouble so everything is soldered and shrink tubed. Ready to trim up the wire wrap and tape up... Then I found the 3rd wire way in the harness. Well cut the shrink tube off those 2 and will redo tomorrow. Wires to the compressor are hanging and couldn't find where they go. Not much room. Decided to replace leaky gaskets on the valve covers since we had to take so much off to get to the wires. In the process found 2 more wires chewed in half.

Then while moving the alternator wires around to get the room to remove the valve covers, I found where the compressor wires went.

While we are there it is getting plugs.

Now the front valve cover bolts are rusted... with very little access. And they are the stud bolts. Too round for a 10mm, still to round for a 3/8" so tomorrow a run for a deep well 9mm. Hoping to pound it on and get the bolt out.

Leaky valve covers, everything just covered in dirty oil. Except the valve cover bolts!!!

Oh and they had to use 2 blue wires with a green stripe. Different trans circuit... So I had to trace back to the ECM to find which were which.
