Pack Rat ate wiring in '12 F250 - need wiring diagram

I had a pack rat get into my engine compartment and ate some of the wiring and two Injection Coil connectors....also some six wires that come out of the wiring harness at the very back center of the firewall and branch off in a cable and lead into the air chamber box on top of the engine. I can't tell if there are 6 wires or 8 wires that have been destroyed. I could sure appreciate some advice on where to locate a wiring diagram that shows what wires these are, what they go to, and what there color code is. Also, some suggestion on how the wires in this harness are laid out....such as where they originate and how they are placed into the wiring harness and how they branch off and what they connect to. This is a 6.2L Lariat.

Hi Ed, Kind of surprised nobody has sent in some JPEG diagrams. You may have to get a paper copy, there are quite a few available on ebay for about 50 bucks. Good luck getting the wiring sorted out.

Hey Jetty -
Thank you for your reply. I am getting some views, and feel confident that sooner or later someone will come up with a diagram for this problem I have. Dern packrats. They are a curse. I have had them go through my '92 7.3l F350 and my '06 6.0l F350. It doesn't take much to put a vehicle out of service and is very time consuming to repair.

If you decide to buy diagrams, this is a good source:

hey dogsrideinback -
Thanks for your suggestion.... I have heard of Helm, Inc... there is another publisher
2012 Ford F-250 F-350 F-450 F-550 Truck Shop Manual Repair on CD-ROM Super Duty
Have you heard of them? They offer wiring diagrams for the same price that Helms, Inc. does...they say their CD for the Shop Manual is Ford Original and includes the wiring diagrams.
Frankly I am disappointed that no one has told me what these 6-8 wires coming out of the wiring harness and into the air control box do and are for...I am getting some views, but I guess the viewer are expecting some photographs of what kind of damage a pack rat can do.
Thanks for you suggestion. Ed -

except for a Ford dealer mechanic... how many have to repair damage to a 5-6 year old truck...

and then there is the current copy-write laws...

Ford, Honda and a few others have had court ordered closing down of forums posting copy-write material.

I know the Honda one.. hundreds of manuals were deleted.. covering 40 plus years.

Every vehicle I service I order up a alldatadiy subscription on it. After you buy one additional subscriptions are around $20.00. You can print out all the diagrams you need from your computer and then have information on future issues with your truck. Well worth the money.

All that place is doing is ordering from Helm, marking up the price, and shipping it to you. Helm's price is only $170 vs the $219 that your link quotes.

It's usually cheapest to just pop onto ebay and buy a retired service DVD that covers everything in a given model year. Some work required usually regarding the expiration dates.

hey projectsho89....thank you for your reply. I will use your suggestion. P.S. I like your quote from Mark Twain..... I just passed 75 and regrettably still stick my foot in my mouth....I am earnestly trying to develop a new habit of keeping the zipper closed....in both places... Both zipper controls have to do with age and memory and poor training.

That explains a lot. I went home for the Christmas holiday and two of those days was spent replacing parts of the engine harness on my dad's 2017 Ford focus. Fun stuff!

Hello DogRidesInBack,
Thank you for the Helm's link. Just what I needed.

Grandma's dog always rode in the front. Didn't trust him to ride in the back.
