From what I can tell, when you turn the truck off you have to change the option that displays on the gauge cluster to disable interior motion alarm, using the steering wheel controls. It does not appear for very long.
You want perrimeter sensing. At least in my 2020 you can chenge it in settings in Sync. I can't remember off the top of my head if my old 2024 had the same, bit I would think it would.
I've had that problem in my 2022. Changing it to perimeter sensing does work, but it seems that I have to change it to that every time I drive it. If there's a way to keep it on that setting I would love to know.
I don't recall if there's a way to set it in Sync, I think you have to do it every time. Likely a safety thing, because what if you DO have something in the back seat that you want to get out? It's an additional reminder, basically.
My 2020 I could set perimeter only or ‘ask in exit’ which is what I set.
FYI, even a moth will set off the alarm.
happened twice for me, both times after midnight in the same location a year apart and 300 miles from home.
On my 24 the option to turn it off shows very briefly at shutdown. Too briefly in my opinion.
I too have had a moth get in the vehicle and set off the alarm after midnight. Took me a bit to figure out - what the hell is going on??!!
