Fox 2.0 Performance Series

Had a stock shock leak on garage floor, noticed it Saturday. Went to an off road place and had the 2.0 Fox performance Series installed. Only drove about 15 miles on them so far, but nothing earth shattering. 68K miles and it was time to replace them anyways.

Do they have a “break- in” period?

I don't think there is a break in period, and I don't notice any change over time. The shocks should have been primed prior to install, and since you went to an offroad shop, they probably did that (full cycle the shock at least five times prior to install).Where I think you will notice the difference is on rougher roads.

The smooth out a little over time. The worse the roads, the more you notice them.
