My 2013 F350 6.2 liter just turned over 281,000 miles. It runs as good as new. With so many miles, what are some maintenance items I need to be thinking about? Thanks
Well...if you've gone 281,000 miles you must have been doing something right...aside from that. this is what I've done over the last year or so. I'll be turning over 100,000 this summer.
- Plugs and pills (some change out coils too)
- Front and rear diff fluids (80W-90 front...75W-140 rear)
- Transfer case fluid
- Coolant (if it's never been done)
- Transmission fluid and filter
- Power Steering flush and replenish
- Serpentine belt
- Idlers and Tensioner
- Often overlooked air-filter
- Check the age of your battery too....a dying/defective battery plays all kinds of head-games.
- PCV valve
