New to the forum. Hopefully I can find some help here

I have a 2005 f150 stx stepside and iam trying to find where I can get the plastic trim for sides of the bed. I think their called rail caps. Any help would be great.

Google 2005 F150 flare side bed rail caps... 15+ options came up. They are paintable btw, if they are not damaged, not sure why you are looking to replace.

All of those are the wrong style. They don't have the curve that accounts for the step.

You mean the "kick out" at the front where the bed width matches cab width? You must be wanting the original black molded plastic rail caps.

I never saw them except if factory. I've seen straight protection that just covers the straight inner edge and most of the top.

Most likely discontinued. I was backed into about 6 weeks ago. When my truck was in the body shop, they had to remove the fender flare trim. One of the tabs broke on both the driver & passenger side. The right side was the only OEM one they could find.

This thread is getting scary.

...... Just joking .... but I have given thought to "what if"

I really like my Flare Side, but I guess it could be replaced by a Style Side 6.5 foot bed ..... that then might rust.

no I didn't ! he never said he needed the just the kick out piece! he asked for help finding the plastic trim for the sides of the bed. I had a flareside I caught that part.
