Ford Ranger (2015–2021) Upgrade – 13" Android Screen with CarPlay

Hi Ranger owners,

We’re CarpuTech, a professional manufacturer focused on building smart upgrade solutions for vehicles like the Ford Ranger / Everest (2015–2021).

We’ve developed a 13" Android touchscreen upgrade that brings modern tech and a much better user experience to your dashboard.

Key Features:
  • 📱 Apple CarPlay & Android Auto – navigation, music, calls, all in one place
  • 🧠 Android system built-in – install apps like Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, YouTube, etc.
  • 🖥️ 13" large vertical touchscreen – much bigger and more intuitive than factory screen
  • 🧭 Built-in GPS navigation – perfect for both city driving and off-road trips
  • 🔄 Retains OEM features – supports steering wheel controls, factory camera, and vehicle settings
  • 🎯 Plug & Play installation – no cutting wires, straightforward install
  • 🎵 Compatible with factory sound system – keeps your original audio setup
This upgrade is ideal if you want to modernize your Ranger’s interior and make it more practical for both daily use and adventure driving.

A lot of Ranger owners go for this kind of setup to get a more functional, tech-forward cabin without sacrificing reliability.

If you have questions about compatibility, installation, or real-world use, feel free to ask — happy to help 👍

It looks very high tech. But what happens to the hard buttons below it? The climate control, power on/off, volume, etc? It's all in that huge infotainment screen now. What happens if the screen dies? I know CarpuTech says "without sacrificing reliability" but yeah. I'll believe what the maker says.

My wife's GMC has this huge screen with all the scrolling features and controls. She likes it. I'm ok with it. It gets confusing to me because I'm not familiar with it and there's some scrolling to get to certain functions. But they do provide hard buttons too. Honestly, I love the big screen for the 360 camera, and when navigating. But I feel like it's a huge distraction from driving. Her GMC is just a rolling computer! It knows what the hell is going on all the time. Quite frankly so does my Ranger and FORD for that matter! I honestly longing for just driving a truck without all the Nanny S**t that Ford loves to shove down everyone's throats.

The climate control is on the screen—you can see that the fixed area at the bottom of the screen is exactly for climate control. The power switch hasn’t changed; the original power button remains after installation. Both volume and climate controls are concentrated in the fixed area at the bottom of the screen, and the hazard/emergency switch is on the right side of the screen.

The situation where the screen “dies” is very rare. If it ever happens, just like a computer, a simple reboot will fix it.

In fact, the volume can be controlled not only through the screen but also via the steering wheel, so this screen is already designed to meet customer needs as much as possible.
