My wife's GMC has this huge screen with all the scrolling features and controls. She likes it. I'm ok with it. It gets confusing to me because I'm not familiar with it and there's some scrolling to get to certain functions. But they do provide hard buttons too. Honestly, I love the big screen for the 360 camera, and when navigating. But I feel like it's a huge distraction from driving. Her GMC is just a rolling computer! It knows what the hell is going on all the time. Quite frankly so does my Ranger and FORD for that matter! I honestly longing for just driving a truck without all the Nanny S**t that Ford loves to shove down everyone's throats.

The situation where the screen “dies” is very rare. If it ever happens, just like a computer, a simple reboot will fix it.
In fact, the volume can be controlled not only through the screen but also via the steering wheel, so this screen is already designed to meet customer needs as much as possible.
