box interchange
So this has probably been asked and answered somewhere but I can't seem to find anything on it. Is there a newer year F-150 box that will interchange with a 2006 with 6'6" box? Mine has the usual rust and anything at the wreckers is rusted as well. Changing box sides does not look cost effective. Thought was that possibly a newer box would fit correctly and have better availability at the wreckers.

Any 04-08 bed should work. Find one from down south and get it shipped to you.

Yes, the bed will bolt up, but if memory serves correct, the body lines don’t quite match (maybe not a big deal) and the tail lights need to be dealt with. The harnesses won’t match up.
