When bolting the access panel to the main inner fender does the bolt push through the holes from the engine compartment into the wheel well or wheel well into the engine compartment.

The access panel attaches to the main panel from the wheel side, and the bolts holding it in place also go in from the wheel side. This allows access to the valve chest on the 6 cylinder trucks to service the valves. You get to do all of these things together with your head under the fender.

Do you happen to know what size bolt or screws are used to hold that panel in place? the bolt kit I have does not have anything for that panel. I will have to go out and purchase the required hardware.
The catalog calls out 5/16-18x1/2 which sounds like what I observed last night. The bolt to the frame is a 3/8-24x3/4. It also says to use anti-squeak between the panels. fyi.
