New to me F600 with a 262 I6, was a fresh rebuild several years ago and ran over a year ago, I would like to prime the oil system first before starting it, I have searched and read that a male 5/16 hex is required to drive the pump on the 300s, is the same true for the 262? Want to get the tool made first.
TIA
I dont know the size but you dont have to make a tool.
If the pump shaft stays in the motor as it should you just need a 5/16 socket long extension and driver.
Tape it all together so it will not come apart and drop into the motor and you now have a oil pump driver.
