Engine Swap Headers '63 Unibody
I am building a '63 Unibody with plans to swap in a 289 to replace the 223, I have bought engine mounts, and plan to buy a universal transmission cross member. Does anyone have a suggestion on which headers to buy for this conversion? I have a set of JBA headers for our Mustang, and a cheapo set of Tri-Y headers, but don't really want to use them. I briefly considered fender-well headers, but don't want to cut good inner fenders. I have a 2-1/2" diameter X-pipe kit and will likely run Flowmaster Mufflers and tailpipes or side-exit exhaust

Thank you for responding, my concern is clearance for the stock front Suspension, and the height of the collectors for exhaust routing. I am considering adding A/C, and depending upon the steering effort, may choose to add PS as well.
