I have swapped in some 40/20/40 seats into my '96. Both of my pumps work but the bladders are completely disintegrating and I could use some support. The bladders are not available anywhere that I can find. I have seen mention of others using blood pressure cuffs to remedy this, but was curious if anyone had any other ideas or pics of what they have possibly done.
I've worked on BMW seats a bit- those bladders are pretty tough, if you
can scrounge them for cheap from a you- pullet junkyard.
I'll bet the Mercedes and Audi parts are also pretty good.
On the BMWs, the bladder controls are just in front of the seat motion
controls, on the side, either with a square or a round 4- position flat
switch that looks a little like a Gameboy controller...
that would let you know to go looking for the lumbar pillow.
For a retrofit, the pump and valving is right there, too, so once you're into
the seat (not easy) you do easily get the pump and valves and regulator.
