Hello All, my dad passed away last year and among his vehicles was a 2005 F150 2wd extended cab, 8ft bed XL, manual transmission, with only 2500 miles. Zero rust. A good steam bath and it could be on the showroom floor. Anyone have an idea as to its value? I can't imagine the $3-4K KBB valuation is realistic. But I don't know. Thanks for thoughts!
No manual transmission behind a v8 in an 11G truck nor did the v6 come in an actual SuperCab.
I’m guessing what we do actually have a v6 longbed regular cab.
That’s going to knock the value down a bit unless someone just has to have that exact truck.
Man I'd love an 11G long bed reg cab as a parts runner, but here in CO it'd need to be 4wd
As for value, I have no idea. It's a unicorn. If it were 4wd here that would push the value up but a 2wd would be in low demand, and the street racer "lowered" crowd doesn't usually want long beds
Thanks everyone for your input. It is a V6, the "extended" cab is just a regular cab with those small suicide style doors that open to give better access to behind the seat storage. I'll try to post some pics.

Yeah that was the only "regular cab" in the 11G. I love the design personally. My '07 is this style. Allows for great access to behind the seats but you don't have doors that are 10 miles long for getting out in a tight parking lot.
I service a '12 Ram regular cab and the doors are huge (long). They also put the seat belt on the B-pillar and you have to reach miles back to grab it. Dumb design.
I love my '07 4.2 5-spd manual, 6.5' bed. The all-iron, pushrod, fuel-injected engine has a lot of torque. You can hear and feel the surge as the cam 'comes-in' at 2500. The trans is a Mazda product and takes ATF for oil. Absolutely never had a problem with the drive train although it only has 36K miles on it. I've seen the times when I wished it was an 8' but the 6.5' will literally hold more cuttings than I want to handle at the landfill. Perhaps your father kept it pristine because he thought the V6/manual was going to be a collector's item.
Its been said in this thread that there was no 4.6L V8/manual in the '04 to '08 truck, but I thought there was - are you sure there wasn't?
