I have the Holy Grail of mud flaps on my Ex, the factory contoured flaps which have been installed for 23 years They have protected me from the NYC road salts each winter, I have zero rust on my quarter panels. I have seen many super duty’s, not many Excursions around, with severe rust on the quarters that dont have flaps. I believe I made the right choice!

Same here. I bought my 04 in 06 from a rental auction. Mine came with everything but the overhead entertainment center.

I have debated taking them off so many times. But for whatever reason leave them on. I've had to a replace a few screws and plastic plugs. They have been ripped off before, off road, but luckily either were hanging on by a thread or was able to collect them before they got lost.

I'm still debating taking them off. Maybe going with a more simple, shorter solution. But for now, they are still on there.

I really thought there would be more input in this thread. Even if for fun conversation. Apparently no one cares about mud flaps.

Just added flaps to my Excursion. Mud and snow where I live likes to build up on the running boards, which kinda defeats the purpose.

I have had them since day one and my truck is remarkably rust free. I think the fronts may be even more valuable than the back - it keeps the majority of salt, mud, etc out of the back side of the rocker.

I think I should at least install some on the front tires, as I have the AMP Research electric steps on my Excursion.
