Thank you so much for the link JB.
That seems crazy expensive (twice the cost of an OEM kit) but it should be a "1 & done" unlike the OEM cardboard that easily breaks during install and can fail after a few years.
I'd thought about trying to find a pattern and make my own out of plastic project sheeting but maybe this might be a better option.
I'll be following this to see what others have to say.
Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but again, thank you for that link.
Has anyone purchased on of these??
I didn’t care for the look of ABS plastic, and I removed it and sent it to the landfill, putting in the correct perforated fiberboard one from Dennis Carpenter. I’m happy with that, it just looks correct to me, The Roddoors plastic one never did it for me, even though I painted it with SEM vinyl paint , attempting to color-match.
Others have covered theirs with either vinyl or fabric and are apparently satisfied.
Believe me, my truck is no cream-puff, I use it. But to my old brain, I like it to look pretty close to the way it was when made. I even prefer the FEEL of driving a 60 year old, roughish- riding truck, warts and all.
You might like it , or you might not, but it’s a costly experiment to find out. I found out the hard way.

But, when I checked about the stock fiberboard ones, shipping was very high, since they have to be boxed and shipped flat. Close to the price of the headliner itself.
I was able to find one in stock, at a very good sale price, at C&G Ford Parts in SoCal, during a sales event featuring additional reduced shipping. I do not believe they even keep them in stock any longer, since they aren’t a fast seller, mine was sort of being closed out.

I had a hell of a time installing the ACME ABS headliner. There was no way I could bend the flat panels into place. Ultimately, I had to heat bend the panels. I used a heat gun and various wood ‘tooling’ I crafted. Not a perfect result. And to do so, I had to pull back the pre-installed vinyl, which added to the mess. Then I used 3M hi-heat adhesive to reattach the vinyl. I got it installed and it looked pretty good.
I wonder if anyone has had an experience where they were able to install the ACME ABS flat sheets right out of the box?
Then the vinyl started peeling off due to heat. It was peeling in places that were installed by Stock interiors. I contacted them and they gave me a full refund. I don’t think I was the first failure that contacted them. I had to remove all the sagging vinyl. Currently I have a black ABS headliner with some glue remnants.
Later I found their website advertising a new and better adhesive for the vinyl covered headliners. I would be skeptical of pre-installed vinyl and would contact the vendor to determine exactly what adhesive is used.

I haven't tried that yet - I’m still too burdened by all the work and failure.
I thought about the Roddoors, and contacted him. I was about to pull the trigger, but then I found some lackluster reviews on this site. So I’m stalled.
I see that NPD may have local stock of the Carpenter headliner. I may go that way…
Hard to tell from the pic, but this is the entire headliner sagging by over 1 inch - totally delaminated.
