New Owner Here

I just bought a 2021 Ranger Lariat, 30K miles and Ford Gold certified. We're in our 70's and downsizing from a King Ranch. I've been driving F150's and Expeditions most of my life. The Ranger is absolutely beautiful and is fully equipped but there's one issue I'll need to deal with. Bought from a Ford Dealer in an adjacent state and had it shipped in here. Well it has a 6" lift on it making it nearly impossible for my wife to get in it. I've ordered running boarda for it but not sure that will make her a happy wife. Oh we've been married 53 years so I've got to come up with a good remedy. Is it possible to have a reputable shop remove the lift kit and return it back to normal? It took me 3 months to find a Gold Certified, low mileage Lariat so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Happy to be here. Been a Ford truck member since 2005 but first time here. Look forward to being active and a contributor. I'll update my account as soon as I take a few photo's of the truck.

Disregard. It appears to be a 3" lift and I just bought a set of running boards for it. That should resolve my issue.

I’ve been a F350 Diesel guy for 30yrs & have two but I love my lil 2020 Ranger 4x4 S/Cab 6ft bed
The little Eco Boost is AMAZING making big torque under 2k rpm
I hate a downshifting hi revver
I put a 2” leveling kit in it because I don’t haul or tow with it.
My wife can’t hardly get in mine either.
Maybe I need power running boards

Well the running boards didn't help much. My door sill is 18" off the floor and the running boards only gained 3". The PO put 275/70 R18 KO3's on it and it came from the factory with 265/60 R18. If I go back to stock I'll gain another 1 1/2". That may work but since the truck has new tires on it that would be a $1,500 expense. I'll just wait for a while and see how it goes for now.

@khpony are those KO AT tires noisy ?
probably not too bad if theyre new.
im no fan at all of AT tires as they’ll eventually get louder.
my wife’s Jeep has tame treaded Pro Comp AT & I can’t stand listening to all the noise they make now that they’re broken in

You'll actually only gain half of that. The extra diameter includes the measurement across the entire wheel, so each side is half. Something to think about....

KO2 are very quiet tires and the best riding tire I have ever owned. I have had about 4 sets on personal trucks and a few sets on 2 work trucks when I used to do gutters. They rode smoother than any street tire, all terrain or mud tire I've had. I've not tried the ko3 yet as the ko2 on 2 of our vehicles have some life left in them
