10R100 Fluid Level?

Does anyone know where the fluid level should be on a 10R100 in a 2025 7.3? I don’t have a service manual yet. Since the 10R100 is new for the 7.3 in 2025 not sure if it would be the same as the 10R100 on 6.8?

My truck is only at 5000km I’m just checking the fluid levels out of curiosity as I heard some people say they were under filled from factory. For anyone interested the front and rear diffs were pretty close to fill hole but the transfer case was 3/4” below the fill hole.

Thanks

Not sure but the 10R100 might have the same standpipe setup the 10R140 has. If so, my 2024 10R140 standpipe level should be checked with the transmission temp between 206 and 215 and no fluid dripping out of the standpipe. However it could be low and you wouldn't know it until you add fluid and then let it drain out until level with the standpipe. I put a PPE pan on mine so I went through standpipe procedure.

My 2024 shop manual says the transfer case oil level should be within 15mm of the fill hole, so I'm not surprised the level isn't at the fill hole.

It has the small dipstick on the passenger side tucked up behind the cat. No standoff in the pan that I can see. Looks just like every 10R80 video I saw. I’m sure many ford technicians would like to have a word with the engineer behind that. But anyways, I was only able to get the fluid temp up to 180deg at idle so I guess I’d have to try this after driving the truck.

thanks for the info on the transfer case 15mm sounds pretty close to my 3/4” zip tie dipstick estimate.

It doesn't have the stand pipe like the 10R140 and the plug on the passenger side like a 10r80 is useless. It's at the rear on the driver side and is a plug like in a rear diff. When up to temp, the fluid will trickle out so it's literally a level plug. I had to change my FMC dealer password and have a new phone as well so can't remember it. I did post it somewhere here and will look

Thanks for sharing that it’s exactly what I needed. Interesting that the dipstick is there but not used.

I know it’s beating a dead horse at this point with the whole “sealed unit, dealer service” thing but this sure feels like an insult to the owners intelligence that they can’t include this info in the digital owners manual. Anyways, modern problems require modern solutions so I appreciate people like yourself helping me out.

cheers
