Welcome to Dec, The month of holidays, saint nicks day on dec 6th , pearl harbor day dec 7th, Hanukkah starts dec 14th at sun down runs to sundown 22nd , xmas and new years eve, plus many many more make a busy month

I'm from Belgian parents we speak Dutch and German, knowing German sure helped while i worked for Volkswagen as factory rep, saint nicks day was a family extra growing up, more so to keep our heritage going ,my wife is Jewish so we celebrate some more , look at the house lighting it can make one crazy, xmas lights and Chanukah lights .we have fun,
Dec 7th again the family's now gone were all army and navy during ww2 , one of my dads brothers flew b17's was in on the last bombing flight over midway, another had 2 ships shot out from under him in the pacific , 2 came back from Europe with purple hearts and bronze stars, dec 24 and 25 well it's world wide special to everyone
So this is a special month for every one of us in many way's , In FTE it's our bonds to each other from what we love. our trucks, cars and work . Making me sure this month will be special in here to us all ,the eggnog is spiked and on me.
Ok is everyone ready for that very nasty 4 letter word that starts with a S , last reports for Sussex county read storm warning 4 to 7 inches with snow falls of a inch a hour at some times, winter is here,

Thanks, Charlie. Was at the County Offices today for a bldg.permit and checked with the Veterans affairs office. They didn't know of anything. Will check with local Legion and VFW tomorrow.
Then see if VA hospitals have any ideas. Still think I saw something somewhere on the net.
Hope I get the permit for this storage shed sooner than later. New requirements: 6 mil plastic as a vapor barrier under the gravel base, and all 4 corners of the building have to be anchored to the ground.
Did get 5 yards of crusher run gravel delivered to the driveway. Used the backhoe to take the gravel back to the proposed site. Just happened to have a roll of 6 mil plastic in stock.
Time to try and get warmer.

no snow just yet, radar shows it not far off, maybe by 0700, schools have all called a snow day, wossies, i seem to remember walking to school in snow and back home at closing
