What a day. Went out to check cows and noticed truck was running a bit rough. It had been sitting for a month as I have been out of town for work and was laid up from some surgery. Stopped by my local mom and pop to pick up oil and filters for the next couple of changes. By the time I made it back home it was running pretty bad. I was like what the heck is going on. Well I had had the plugs changed unfortunately by my local dealer because of my surgery and had a booster replaced as it had been leaking. Hit up a buddy to see if I could borrow his code reader to maybe shed some light on what was going on. Head to his house let truck cool down and read codes. All sorts of misfire one several cylinders. I was like ok plugs are new. Maybe the wires or a coil. I start checking the wires and lo and behold 1 wire was not even attached I guess a squirrel or field rat must have bumped it as they had enough of that electrical greese to lube my tractor lol. Got that cleaned up and placed back on and running like a champ again. 90k on odometer and so far just some odd ball stuff I have had to do to truck. That booster was about the only thing that I didn’t see coming. The door lock mechanism I had to replace but can’t complain to much it gets worked pretty hard.
oh just the brake booster went bad. Sounded like power steering went out. But I guess they aconnect somehow I was down for surgery so I just took it to dealer and just paid whatever.
