Haven't seen any Turkeys up here yet. Usually see a bunch crossing the road.
Wonder how many of human turkeys got a license to drive, Tom. Forgot, common sense is not a requirement.....

we have a flock in the woods behind the big truck yard. at least 15 birds. we also have deer, red and grey fox, skunks, possums, red, grey, and flying squirrels, 2 bald eagles, at least 2 osprey, redtail hawks, at least one great horned owl, a few coyotes, and one fairly large cat. probably a bobcat, but not sure because it is very elusive and we have never seen a clear picture of it on any of the 12 video cameras over the property.
surprisingly though, no chipmunks, rats or mice
the 85 acres behind the shop property is wildlife land conservation property.
which is nice because it means there will never be building on it, but is also making it hard for us to build our dream shop.

Oh, you see those little critters but they are in the bellies of the larger ones. Coyotes really making a lot of noise just down the road from us tonite. It is fun to see what comes around the place with cameras.

good morning gang. Who else forgot to turn the clocks back?

have all of your list here also tom, add to you list rabbits ,otters and beaver , all thanks to the multiple sections Swartswood and Kittatinny state parks that surrounds us, the farm along side of us goes to the little lake shore line, the big lake is a 1/2 mile walk away , across the road is 70 acres of state land part of the park, 'chipmunks if we see one, it's not for long , our resident red tail eats very well , yotes have been not making much noise since deer season opened, haven't seen a bear in 2 weeks, than hunters got 186 of them in Sussex county alone .

Just heard a shotgun go off. Hunter in the woods across the road. Have to get my .22 loaded. Years ago, one guy was in the woods hunting squirrels. I was on the roof when some pellets came down on the roof. Didn't like that. So I got down and fired several rounds into the tree tops. Yelling to the guy that he was too close , back off. Turned out the guy was a local bar owner that I knew. Said he was never so scared in his life. He kept telling that story for a couple of years.
