Escape Display

2017 Ford Escape, does anybody know what would cause the center display behand the steering wheel to go blank? It came back a couple times but will blank again.

When it starts to work again does it come right back up or does it go through a sequence like it's rebooting? My guess would be an issue with the power supply for the display.

That style instrument cluster is used on many Ford models like Focus and Transit Connect. There are YouTube videos on how to replace the LCD. There is no realistic fix besides removing and looking for bad connections.
