I have a free topper, for a 1973~1979, will it work on 1988?
So I have this "OEM" gem top (I was told that's what you got if you ordered thru the dealer, so not exactly OEM?). It needs some clean up and what not, but it's for an 8' bed and is a "cab height + a bump" type. I'm wondering how that would work on an 88 F350 dually ext cab 8' bed.
I know it has the "style" of the 70's dentside, but I was going ot recoat and repaint it. I'd be looking at the cab angle, which I think is a bit different.
I know a lot of beds were made the same size if they were 8' or 6', so the frame should be the same.

Take a accurate measurement of your bed,, measure the topper..
you should also measure the cab angle.
