I have a 2020 expedition and i was wondering if anyone is running thicker oil like full syn 1030?
i know they went to 520 only because of emissions, 520 just seems so thin for these big suvs especially in hot climates.
Check your owner's manual to see what weights are acceptable. MOST of them can accept 10W30 if you're going to be above freezing but not all of them. 5W20 is usually the standard for all temperature ranges.
