Hi Pat. Will this be the year the 67 is done? I guy over in western NY was looking for a 67 door for his truck. Someone put a 68-72 one on it. He came and got it last Sunday. About a 3 hr drive.
De-cluttering at work.

Good morning all, happy Friday! Lee, no bragging...LOL
A bit moist here this morning. George, hoping to have it ready for paint at the end of the summer. Once it's painted, it will come together quickly. I have a storage room FULL of parts!

Good morning!

Pat I was surprised it rained overnight. I knew it was supposed to rain some today but didn't realize this early. I need my garden to try out a bit to till it, the rain today is unwelcome. On top of that my wife left a window down on her van last night....
I was informed yesterday I will be working 2 days a week from home, alternating mon/tues and thrus/fri. I'm not one that really likes working from home but for this project I'm on it may work out. We'll see. I'll give it a shot anyway.
Swap meet at Speedway tomorrow so I figure I'll take a gander there. Hoping to get caught up enough I can start working on these bumper boat motors. I have less than 2 months to get all 4 running now.

Good morning, everyone! I wouldn't say that it rained over here but it's pretty wet this morning too. I'm never going to get to spray my weeds at this point.

Started going through all the piles of junk outside of dad's shop last night, or as I affectionately refer to it: my inheritance. Sorted and hauled off one pickup load of trash and one of scrap iron and loaded up another load of each. I put a good dent in the pile but have a long way to go yet. Thankfully, my town is doing a village clean up thing and they have roll offs for the residents to use for the next two weeks. Hopefully I can get through all the junk in time to not have to rent my own dumpster.

While I was cleaning up junk, I happened to look at the roof line of my dad's shop and found another bad deal... The roofline (probably a 4/12 pitch) is sagging. Instead of a straight line from the eave to the peak, there's a good bow... Great... Not sure what to do about that one. It's a wood frame metal building, 40x40. The building was put up in 2002 or 2003 so I can't believe that it's gone bad already... but seeing how a lot of things got half-way'ed around the place...I guess that should come as no surprise by now.

Oh well, just another day I suppose. The battle rages on!

If I got all my projects done, I would have a lot more room, for more projects.

Good afternoon guys. I’m home sick again! Went to a CPR refresher for work, and started having the runs, and feeling like hell. So, came home and barfed. Now I just feel awful. Trying to get some water down so I don’t get overly dehydrated. Haven’t been sick in years , now been
sick two ce within two weeks!

Hope you're feeling better Pat!

I hit up the Speedway swap meet Saturday morning and there was nothing I needed. Mostly chevy stuff. Got some things done in the garage with mowers etc. and my boy showed up to get his car to blow ac out the front vents. I was already in a pretty bad mood for no reason but trying to get under the dash of a g6 and my hands not working well (carpal tunnel) I was in throwing wrech mode and punching inanimate objects. My wife said she's never seen me that angry before which is saying something. It's weird I'm never that mad at people but objects..... Anyway neighbor pulled up and yanked the thing right out of the car, he used to be a tech at Duteau. He kindly installed the actuator yesterday for me too. I bought him a part for his mower and made my kid refund me the money. All in the fix was $60 for actuator and labor. I do the labor for my kid for free but since he moved out I make him pay for parts most of the time.

My body is still building back muscles I lost after the whole back ordeal. I could barely move yesterday just from the on and off the mower, up and down in the garage etc. It's stupid but I guess expected.

I'm working from home 2 days a week now so I popped into Seward over lunch today on the motorcycle to renew a couple pickups, the bike and camper. It was nice to get some wind in my hair and feel decent enough to do it.

The wife went up to chadron to do some training so I'm a single dad tonight and have a village board meeting.

Good morning guys, happy Hump Day! Man, what a miserable two days! But, feeling much better, back at work. Great weight loss program, though, lost 10 pounds. Not something I would recommend.

Good morning, everyone!

Glad to hear you're upright, Pat! I don't think I've ever lost that kind of weight whilst being sick... I could lose a few pounds but think I'll find a better way to do it...

I am feeling the burn on the last 4 or 5 days, though. Started going through the piles of stuff/junk outside of my dad's shop. Over three days I hauled out 4 pickup loads of straight trash, about 4 more loads of scrap iron, and about a dozen loads of tree branches from volunteers growing around the shop, house, and fence lines (they live on an acreage). Spend a few hours mowing their lawn on Monday and a couple hours mowing mine last night. Treated all of the stumps so they won't grow back. Got a good few blisters on my left foot. Gotten soft over the years working desk jobs, I guess. Walking isn't fun today. Think I'll try to wrap it and try to keep moving with all of it. The weather is too nice to not get worked ahead!
