Ford sign experts

I got this sign with a bunch of parts and was just wondering what it might be worth. I searched the net and eBay and found some signs that were close but not identical. Found one site that one exactly like this was mentioned but had very little helpful information.

It measures 18"x8", enamel on metal and it's fairly heavy. In really good shape so I figure it has to be a reproduction piece but wasn't sure because I couldn't find one like it. I would think a reproduction piece would be all over eBay and be easy to find.

I don't care if it's worth $200 or $10, it's going up on my shop wall and staying there. Unless it's worth $500 then I'm not that attached to it.

It's probably worth closer to the $50 mark...

If it's enamel I'd guess that it's not reproduction.

Any codes or addresses or numbers in the back?

You can buy enameled signs all day long and in your size they are on average $25. Your truck service sign is probably an older reproduction as all I can find available now are ones without "Truck". Consider it a very cool free perk with the parts you got.

Wayne, that's the only site I could find that had the exact sign.

Abe, no. The first thing I did was look over the front and back to see if there might be some part number on it.

Yeah, unless it was worth $500 I wouldn't get rid of it. I like it and think the mention of "truck" on it makes it interesting, not worth much. I don't care if it's a reproduced piece, it's just going to look good on my wall.

As long as we're talking signs here...
I dug this out of the desert in SE New Mexico several years ago. It appears to be one half of a whole, of what was once a large neon lit sign.

I've done tons of googling trying to find one similar, but the only Western Auto Supply signs I find are the ones that are circular with the red arrow.
Any thoughts??

That's a cool sign, something American Pickers would pay a lot for.

I've been tempted to pass it along. I cleaned it up with some steel wool and took all the rust off.
I had it hanging on the fence for a long time. But I recently built a new fence and I don't want to poke any holes in it to hang the sign back up so its just sitting on the side of the house.

After looking at the measurements again, I am leaning to a repop sign. 8×18 is not a very big sign . It is only 7" bigger than a piece of paper. I have bought some reproduction signs on eBay and they are about the same size.

I checked out the sign before reading the narrative; “that’s a lot of bullet holes”! First sentence cleared that up.

As one poster on the Wayne referred to said, it would too small to actually be used as an original sign. Most of the reproduction signs I’ve seen are thin tin, this one is pretty heavy and enamel like an old sign. Not surprised or disappointed it’s not something special. It’s a nice sign and I like it mentions “truck”, makes it more specific to my interest.
