My new truck is going to be a long bed coming from a short bed. Doing the same as you and going to use the rear tie downs but have to purchase new front tie downs.

turns out the tie downs came off of a 2019 long bed f350! But they look different than torklifts current models , any ideas on if this would work with my truck? Theoretically they should ?

Really disappointed in the finish quality of my Torklift Tie Down components. For the $$$$ they ask these parts should hold up much longer thn they do.
Plus one on the black Torklift finish. Mine are 18 months old and the black finish is peeling off of all of them, just like yours. Easy enough to sand and paint, but how hard would it have been for them to do it right in the first place.
I just installed the F2031 on my 2020 F350... none of the instructions or videos really matched up very well but I got them installed. I was patient, took my time and studied everything I could find... install booklet, videos... I tell ya what I hope I don't have to do that again anytime soon.
If you have a question about whether or not they will work, put them up on the frame and start lining up the holes. Call Torklift! They will help you if they can... Also, It's my understanding they are backwards compatible. That's proven by the install of the F2031 on a 2020.
Having a conversation with Torklift I told them I bought some used Fastguns and asked him if they are warranty for life and he said YES... he said in a couple of years if your paint is chipping off, get in touch, send them in and they will repaint them. WOW, ok cool, good to know.
To avoid all the corrosion... family members back in Michigan said they all have Woolwax (lanolin) applied to the underside so I bought a kit and did that. Is it messy when I was installing the tie downs? Yep... but there wasn't any rust either. I will apply it to these this next fall so I won't be dealing with rust.
On a side note and maybe this would be better asked in the main forum... WHY are the leaf spring bolts not put on so the nut is on the inside of the spring pack on the driver side? If a fella needed to replace those springs he would have to drop the fuel tank in order to get the bolt out. So effin stupid

See post #9. Shame these parts degrade the way they do for the $$$$ Torklift commands. The frame on my F350 has no corrosion but my tie downs are a mess.
I don't know why you thought you should include me in your complaint... In fact I suggested anyone with paint issues contact them. Do I look like Torklift service/helpdesk department? LOL - seriously tho, contact them. I would love to see pictures of the underside of your truck... that boat & trailer of yours likely gets dunked into the salt water plenty.

The front mount parts look to be holding up just fine. The paint on the other hand doesn't look like the owner has done much to protect them from salt on the roads or in the water where they launch their boat. These tie-downs are mounted under the the truck where rocks and sand are continuously degrading the paint finish. All it takes is one little chip and the next thing ya know corrosion is under the paint tearing everything up... that's why lots of people refer to it as a cancer.
My last truck was an F150. I launched my boat in brackish water and even tho it wasn't full on Saltwater, it still caused lots of corrosion on my trailer and the underside of the truck. I learned my lesson... and applied a lanolin based wax to protect the underside of my truck (Woolwax). That's what family members in Michigan told me they use. The wax is self healing so if a rock hits it, it will spread over the chip preventing more damage.

Underside of my F350 with ~36k miles many down @25th parallel. My Torklift brackets look similar to post # 7.
I spend 5 - 6 months in the Keys and launch a boat ~25 or more times minimum depending on winds. I have a slip but do not leave the boat in water during long stretches of winds. That being said my frame on my F350 is clean as a babies bottom but those Tiedowns are a wreck. This truck has never seen snow since I winter down south each year I have had it. Lot's of rocks hit my frame while traveling and my frame shows zilch in the corrosion department.
I don't think I should have to 'protect' the Torklift parts for the $$ they charge and reputation they have.
