New Additional Engine Line For 7.3/6.8
Not a surprise. The 7.3L line at Windsor is an annex off the main Essex engine plant, I figured it might not have the capacity to meet demand particularly after the Romeo built 6.2L was dropped and replaced by the 6.8L also produced on the Windsor annex line. With Oakville coming on line the demand will no doubt increase. This will make Ford's HD truck gasoline engine production capacity closer to GM's, GM manufactures the 6.6L gasoline engine at their huge Tonawanda NY engine plant.
