Apparently the original part for this fitting is discontinued (f8uz-18599-aa).
Does anyone know of a proper alternate part than black NPT pipe from home depot that someone put on?

I'm asking about the coolant hose fitting on the LR side of the engine. I think the fitting is only on Excursions.
Thanks!
For the rear heat, yes? It is indeed discontinued, but they are NPT threads. I don't know the size off the top of my head, but you should be able to put something together out of a brass close or 1" nipple, a brass 45 elbow and a brass hose barb. It may take a trip to an actual plumbing supply house to find brass, though.

Ah thank you. I haven't pulled the pipe out, so glad to know it's actually NPT, and not a timebomb of incorrect thread matches. I'll look for something in brass, maybe zinc plated to avoid galvanic corrosion with the head.
Do you know if the Right Front coolant spigot is available, or would work? It not, I'm sure piecing something together as you've suggested would be fine.
Thanks again.
