In summer I wanted louvres on my rear window. I checked a few sites and found a lowest price of $155, which is far too high for me. But if they also work as impact protection for the glass, then maybe I could spend that much. I have seen some improvised solutions for protecting the glass, like bed rails. If I use free improvised glass protection then a sheet of window tint could be enough for shade.

Made it to sun and back over the last 9 days. Not enjoying the grey and rain when I had fun sun and 80 plus degree temps. Now I ready for summer and camping season to start.
