Water in Cab

Good Morning,

My 21 Ranger is starting to get water in the cab. I know what the issue is, the AC is draining into the vehicle. Ford, in their great wisdom, redesigned the old reliable AC system so the condenser is now inside the cab instead of in the engine compartment. The condenser has to drain so they made a small, very small, drain tube to do the job. Well it is short enough that it will sometimes not go all the way out or it moves back inside and starts putting the water to the inside of the cab, usually the drivers floor board. Mine is no longer leaking outside on the ground, it all comes inside the vehicle. I went to the dealership today to see about a possible fix, I would have to pay to have this problem resolved even though it is a design flaw. Anybody else having this issue? Check under your vehicle with the AC going, are you draining onto the ground, if not bet your driver's floor board is wet.

Any suggestions from anybody?
Jeff

If you can find the outlet of the drain tube, check that it isn't plugged. Run a wire up there.
I've had mud-dauber wasps build a nest in the differential vent tube of my truck.
