Nebraska’s “ Spooky Halloween “ October BS thread
Man, hard to believe it’s October already!! Liking the weather, though. It’s conductive to truck progress! So, with that, let’s get this show on the road! Happy October!

Good October One morning Nebraska, Pat, Lee, Ken, George, Bud, Denny, Kenny, TC and all the crew.
Nice start to the day in my woods at 64°, overcast, light brief rain, headed to 75°, partly sunny and a nice breeze.
Lee, Hope you faired well as Helene moved north.
Pat, maybe you will get some work done on the 67 now that the weather is cooling off and comfortable. And Maybe, just Maybe you will get one of the turbines fired up!
Remember Halloween is almost 4 weeks away and please don't take your mask off until them and scare everyone too early!

Good morning, everyone! I turned waking up 20 minutes late with two kids into walking into work 90 seconds late. I'm going to call that a win.
I've been thinking about making some rounds like what a lot of you guys do. It'll probably be as close to actually physically traveling as I'll get. I'm a pretty hardcore home-body.

It is amazing how much you learn about other states and places from making the circuit and not to mention the people you meet virtually and become friend with!
Working 33 years on shift work and away from home 24 to 48 hours and home only 24 before a repeat, I pretty much am happy to stay home. I have seen a fair amount of the country in detail and there are some places I still would like to spend time look around. But not enough to want to travel like that anymore.

Wife and I went to Tennessee a couple of years ago this time of year and made the rounds. Made our way down into Alabama and Georgia for a little bit. Never made it as far as West Virginia, though. There's so much to see out that way too. We'll most likely make a family trip out there again when the kids are old enough to take it all in.
