2011-16 6.2 2WD vs 4WD transmission differences
The transmission output shaft has the same part number between 2WD fixed yoke and 4WD transmissions. Does anyone know for sure if a 4WD truck would be happy with a 2WD transmission? Car-part.com requires a selection of 2WD slip yoke, 2WD fixed yoke, or 4WD amongst the 6.2 engine options. To my inexperienced eye, it looks like the 2WD yoke can be removed and the transfer case bolted on. TIA
