Good morning all, and welcome to one of my two favorite months, JUNE! Dig me some warm weather! Now, just have to finish my Honey-Do list from the last two years, then it’s on to the 67!!
Have to remember to check the police blotter on Monday to see if Pat behaved himself over this weekend.
Pat, I thought your marriage contract voided any HD list after 1 year...
It sure looks like we are going to have a nice start for the month of June . I'm on the mend and starting to get some of things checked off my things to get done list.

Good morning all, welcome back from the weekend! Last full week of work for a while. Wifey and I leave for vacation on Sunday, off to Colorado, then Grand Canyon, and then a few days in Sedona, AZ. I'll come back to work for 3 whole days, then off again, for my normal 2 week sabbatical in the garage with the 67!
Went and saw a hilarious comedian last night, Brad Williams. He's a little person, and he's funny as all get out. Great show!
Good afternoon gents. I've been absent again... I got sick a few weeks ago which turned out to be a viral ear infection. Then was in Dallas for a week getting prepped for some work at one of our locations dealing with a city who can't get us the permits we needed. Got home and turned around Friday of Memorial Day and headed out south of Maxwell for a camping trip with friends and you get zero cell service there (which is fantastic) unless you drive up out of the bottom of the canyon.
Camping Saturday morning my buddy took my wifes phone to the top so she could check text messages. She got a message from my mom to call immediately, she jumped in the jeep without telling me and went up to find out what was going on. I was in changing for the day and came out to hear about this. Upon returning to the campers she was bawling and dragged me into the camper. The gut punch was my Aunt and Uncle were killed in a car accident along with one of their best friends in York Friday night. All of the friends I was camping with are also good friends of my aunt and uncle. They were 2 of the best people on the planet.... The funeral was this past Saturday and so between things I just haven't had much time or thought to visit it. I do then I get busy and forget. Many of you probably know I lost a daughter 2 years ago to a car accident as well so telling my 7 year old that two of the people she called grandma and grandpa were no longer here was extremely difficult. We were able to keep it from her all weekend so she could at least enjoy the weekend before getting home. Given it was the weekend the cousins told me to just stay out there and enjoy the weekend the best we could as that's what they would have wanted. Anyway my 7 year old asked my wife last night while I was in Grand island dropping my brother off at the airport, if she felt like her life was a sheet of paper getting torn up from each person suddenly not being in our life anymore.... She's pretty articulate for a 7-year-old. I also had to have a conversation with my mom about how to speak with my cousins (it was my mom's brother who passed) as there is history between them as well and some of the cousins were getting upset....
Also some other things involving my daughter who passed best friend and a news article probably most of read or heard of out of Lincoln. We've stayed close with her as she has had a really tough upbringing so we try to fill in but she doesn't make the best choices or friends.
No pity or sympathy needed. Just been a rough long few weeks in the Anthony household. I'm really hoping I can get back onto some "fun" projects at the house instead of fixing needed vehicles or broken house stuff. I'm ready to goof off in the garage. That 71 only has the oil pan and heads off of it. In nearly 2 months I don't even have the cam or crank out of it yet.
Good afternoon everyone. Supposedly more storms this afternoon. I'm hoping for just rain. Don't need any more wind, hail etc. damage that we've already had in the state.
