2000-2003 f450 Suspension upgrade?

2000-2003 f450 Suspension upgrade?
Im looking for a 200-2003 f550 7.3 with a dump but i can only seem to find 450s. I want a 550 because of the 13,500 rear axle weight capacity as opposed to the 450s 11,000 i plan to use it to deliver gravel as part of my business to deliver 6 ton loads of gravel. What i want to know specifically “ is the weight capacity for the rear axle in the leaf springs or the axle it self?” I ask because if i buy a 2000 f450 to upgrade it to 550 weight would i just buy and swap out with 550 leaf springs to bring it to 13,500 weight capacity or would i need to swap out to a 550 axle? Online i see supposed heavy duty upgraded leaf springs.
