Going minimalist yet again - just finished up in the garage for the night and getting ready to snooze. May's here, Ford Nationals at the end of the month, trucks to prepare. Let's get it.
good morning guys and gals, hear you about the nationals bill, 4 hour drive for us, but one we hit every year along with two in aug, the truck and corvette nations , makes me wonder if i still have enough in me to pop the body off my C2 so i can replace the fuel and brake lines and body mount cushions , the metal lines are now 60 years old bolt to the top of the frame with 1/4x20 bolts , no way to get them done body on ,
good morning everyone and happy hump day. really need to find time to get my a pillar lights completely installed and get the camper done. to many things going on this week.
As a throwback to a conversation we were having a month ago, water has officially found its level. The Succos went from first to worst!
Ain't that the truth. They really sunk fast. However foolish when it comes to Pittsburgh baseball, here's hoping for a rebound to at least respectability.

I do Truck and Ford every year - even the past few when the truck(s) have been down. I've had my 98 in judging at Truck since 2012, winning 4x once they formed the 97-03 Full Size Ford 4x4 class. Used to be 1999-present and I had NO chance lol. As much as it's NOT about awards for me though, I do miss Saturday AM judging time. I usually hit the fairground around 6AM when no one's there and prep the truck in the quiet. It's my peace, it's my time for reflection. I can't put words to it...it just means a lot. Met a lot of great folks in Carlisle - a number of them through here when we did a Mid-Atlantic Ford trucks meet there, still friends with most of them.

I usually do both as well. Maybe one of these times I’ll make it a point to find folks from FTE while drooling.

i hear you on the judgeing, one of our group owns a 57 vette that we retro roded when the numbers matching FI engine went bad, we gave it a crate 290hp 350, 5 spd trans, disc brakes on all 4, power rack steering, it's won all 4 classes for c1's since , another is a 29 model a pickup, 2 classes, powered by a 181 inch chevy inline 4 from a boat to a 5 spd from a S10, hopefully the 28 sedan delivery gets something, how many all ford steel sedan delivery A's are even still around?
Happy Friday Eve, Gang! Last day of online training today. Dropped the wife at the airport for a weekend trip for our niece's communion this morning. Leaving straight from work to head to Morgantown and pick up my oldest for the summer. Youngest has an away game tonight for volleyball. Of course, the whole weekend looks like this....
