Despite a lot of searching, I couldn't find a single video or instruction here in the forum or anywhere else on the web, so after making the special tool, I installed the springs and recorded a video. Perhaps this may be helpful for others. Please excuse the poor video quality, I didn't have a cameraman available.
I agree you did a nice job with building the tool and recording the video. One thing I have learned over the years reading all the posts on hoods is that before the springs go on you should lube the center pivots as they will help the hood roll down in back and hold the rear in the closed position while driving. Otherwise the rear of your hood will "ride up" and also after shutting your hood you will have to go from one side to the other to set the rear of the hood down after closing it. Sorry if you already had done this. After reading posts about this I just sprayed some good penetrating oil on my pivots with the springs still on and my hood really started to work much better. Especially when closing.
Once again good video, and sorry if you lubed your pivots already. It really makes a difference!
