You can see what your local heavy truck brake & clutch shop could offer. If the damage is confined to the friction material, they definitely should be able to reline it. Beyond that, it would be worthwhile to see what they could do for the band structure itself.
The band assembly (complete with friction material) is -2648. If yours can't be rebuilt/relined as suggested above, your next best bet would be to reach out to Chuck's Trucks LLC, give 'em a call and see if there is something serviceable in their inventory.
Pops, welcome to FTE!
We would love to see pictures of your truck.
Reading closer before I posted, this info below if it is just the brake material. If the metal band is bad I would agree that Chuck's Trucks should be your first stop.
Show us some pictures of your brake band.
One of the end pieces has completely broken off. I laid them together - I have another picture I will post of it broken. It actually looks like the band rubbed on the drive for so long it wore through the metal.
First found the Brake Band through Terry's in Nebraska- Now having it re-lined (not cheap)...
New question:
MASTER CYLINDER
Please look at the picture. there is a second port inside the chamber and I am not sure where is goes. I have cleaned thoroughly but not sure where it ports to, I cant get anything in there to see if its clogged?
